I delt with Scott a bit over the years,, never bought anything tho. He was pretty smart when it came to assembling his car, I think he had too much on his plate. too many projects at once. one guy can't do it all and when you start not doing what you say you are or have done.. it'll come back and bite ya in a quickness. I've delt with DJ Golden a few times now, sold parts back and forth and asked tons of questions.. Now this is a guy that is upfront and honest...  My guess is Scott knows the difference between the 4spd and 5spd. people like to hear you have a 5spd... this may have sweetened the deal in his eyes and them before you could question anything it would be too late. Sorry to hear you're missing a gear, glad he didn't sell you a V8 that had a 2.8L emblem on it.
