Updates:
I have stopped by a few fiberglass shops since the last time I posted. I am finally getting some response from their management in regard to accepting the work. The only problem is the price. I don't want to go TOO cheap as I am sure that the quality will reflect it, but I am trying to be sympathetic to the builders and keep the cost down.
The average "low price" that I am getting response to is around $5,500. I have a lot of shops that want considerably more than this, but even still, I am sure I can get a better price.
To the Interested: Let me know. I am finally getting "bites" on fiberglass shops that can do the work, the only thing now is how much are you willing to pay for the complete package?
I am not opposed to making this body fit a donor... but again, I am trying to help any interested builders out there... so your response will be the determining factor to how this all plays out.

Today!
I will be stopping by the fellow employees shop today to see what is what. I will probably start picking up the molds tomorrow, but he said that there is a extra seat that I can take with me today if I want it. I don't know how to post pictures yet, but if someone could inform me how to, I will show the items as I get them.

Hughes, PM sent. In addition, I would be happy to post them for you in the meantime. Just email them to me at newmdav@aceweb.com. Small file size please. Under 130k. Dave

Update:
I went by the shop and just as I was told, there are a lot of molds. I picked up the seat (as I am to be going back tomorrow to start moving the molds to my shop) and sent FunnyWheels (Dave) the pics so he will be posting them for me until I get the privileges.
The seat is a previously made piece and is fiberglass with a "black gelcoat" face. Being that I'm a Composite Lamination Engineer... I feel that this is one piece of the K1 that I will absolutely be making out of carbon fiber, the style is just too nice, I am going to put them in every sporty vehicle I own, including Johns LP640 package when its available for purchase. I will most likely remold the seat in a little wider fashion to accommodate other body types if there is interest, but this one fits me nicely as it is... (5'11" 165lbs.)
Note: If there are any members that would like a set of these seats (carbon edition) for their car, let me know. They are really sporty and would look great in any build... Ferrari, Lamborghini, K1, personal, or whatever.
I will keep up with the updates as they come, and thanks Dave in advance for your help with the pictures. -Hughes

EXTREME,
I am going to be making the molds of the seat in the near future. I am going to make the seat a little wider so that body type can be accommodated by the thickness of the foam, and not have to have a bunch of molds that I will never use just to try and conform to most body types. They won't be too much wider, but enough to open the possibility of more interest. The mold will be for me to make carbon fiber seats, so your set will be flawless.
Price: I deal with Government Composite Aeronautical Development... so the prices that I am use too are in the millions. I want to be fair to all interested parties, but also not pay for someone to have them (if you know what I mean). The seats will come fully assembled, carbon fiber front and rear, with the buyers decision on material (color of suede or leather, color of stitching, and stitch pattern), and some form of brackets/mounts. I am not sure if I want to find a slider system, or a solid chassis mount, but regardless, the seat sets will be 100% ready to go.
Let me know what price range sounds fair and I'll let you know if I can hit that mark without paying to make them for you. -Hughes

Update:
I was hindered from receiving all of the K1 Attack molds as the owner of them wanted to clean out their shop a bit, meaning that they needed my help selling some left over items that he didn't build (the murci molds... separate thread). Well, the molds were sold/delivered on Friday, so now I can go get some more K1 items!
I will post some pictures once I gather the molds and figure out what pieces they build. Thank you all for your interest, I look forward to helping some of you builders have a next project!

Hello fellow K1 enthusiasts. I landed on this site while reading a kit car thread on Beyond.ca. I am a big fan of the K1 Attack and was disappointed to here how hard it is/was to even get one. Especially in Canada!
Finding and reading this thread couldn't be any better! The potentail opportunity to get my hands on one is just awesome! Unfortunately with a few more courses on the go, I will have to admire what you guys come up with as it all unfolds. I am interested in seeing if any donor car gets decided. This would be my first kit, and although I truly admire the work and efforts put into replica cars, the looks and originality of the Attack are amazing! Hopefully something will come together where it becomes a bit of an easier build.
One question, seat wise, could a set of say...Bride Euro II's fit in the Attack?

Just found an information about the debut of K-1 Attack and it's price. The entire package (tube chassis, exterior and interior fiberglass panels, seats, modified AUDI TT front suspension, etc; less donor parts from Honda Accord) was exactly 13,000 USD. I remember that just few months later someone in the States splashed molds off of them and produced illegal copies for less price.
