Sorry, I meant that having an outside CAD person draw and interpret your design and solid model can be very time consuming and therefor very expensive.

Take a look at Aussie modded locost (lotus 7) replica chassis vs that or a standard locost.
Will give you some ideas how to improve a chassis and to compare diagonals etc.
I have the book by Adams, have not had a chance to read it all but looks good so far.
Why the 80mph limit? Put something that light on the track with a motobike engine and it has the possibility to fly.
