Hello everyone,

Has anyone mounted a TH350 to a Corvair Differential? Or do you know where I can find an Adapter?

I am looking for an Adapter - used in some V8 Mid-engine Kit cars from the 70's and early 80's.

The adapter mounts a TH350 to a Corvair Differential - placing the engine right behind the driver's seat.

Please NOTE: (I have been searching for a while and I have already tried)

a) Clark's Corvair - they only have one for a Powrgluide

b) KENNEDY ENGINEERED PRODUCTS

c) Fiberfab US

d) I've even sent an email to a guy named Jeff - on his site he talks about someone who made one....

Thank you,  Tony

I know a guy who builds Corvairs with SBC engines in them. I have actually held one of the adapters. It had a rod going through the transaxle to the front side of the transaxle that fit into the clutch on the back of the engine going through to the Corvair clutch assembly.  He works for the Tampa Police Department so it is hit or miss seeing him. Maybe someone will have his number so you can talk to him.

Give me a few days then ping me at newmdav@aceweb.com
