Well ive just spoke to a company in the UK which I guess are going to turn firbreglassing on its head.

NO MIXING, NO BRUSHING, NO MESS Smiley

Basically you lay the sheet where you want it. take the film off and it cures with UV light or the SUN.

Small parts it cures in minutes, larger panels a couple of hours.

Thats it. Nothing else.

I will be testing this next week and will let you know how I get on.

How about the smell? that is the worst part about this whole process!!  I would be interersted to see how it performs around tight corners etc and the overall quailty of the finished job.

edited for spelling... we need a spell checker!!! or at least I do

I would be willing to pay a higher price if I didnt have to mix the resin and hope I added the right amount of hardener to finish the job before it dries on me!  not like that has ever happened to me....  Grin  I would not have enough use for a bulk buy but I am sure one of you guys who did would be willing to sell me some... at a profit of course...  Keep me in the loop as to all of your results with this new product as I have a lot of fiberglassing left to do!

This process has been around about ten years. Very expensive process for large jobs

I believe some of that material is listed in this quote I got the other day.
It was a clear low viscosity epoxy laminating system  5 gallon kit was $458.78

Or
Urethane fast cast white rigid system-shore 83D-6-8 minute gel time-2 gallon kit $97.37

I also talked to them about a new tooling system.  I saw them use it one night on the show "Rides"   They quoted me this.
Room Temp quick cure epoxy tooling compound 2 Gal Kit $142.25
Or it might be the Ad-Tech Tooloing compound 5 gal Kit $305.76

I think this is what you are talking about.
