HI all,

Does anyone know if the stick on carbon fiber look would work on a duckbill style rear wing?

I disagree..it depends on the material. I have seen samples at last years SEMA show that looked fantastic. One of them was made by ALSA and I couldn't tell the difference. They don't sell to the end user, only to shops (I think) that install it. Google ALSA carbon...or so

from what I know, you can buy a thin sheet of carbon fiber, just like polyfibre, you lay it as the last layer, and it hardens, most people however let the polyfibre harden first, then paint it a glossy black, and then lay over top the carbon fiber sheet so that you don't see any of the white polyfiber underneath. As well, stay away from the fake carbon fiber sheets which you just glue on, after a few months, they will start to lift up, and air bubbles start to form in between the fake carbon fiber sheet and the actual body. Deffinetly not the look you want to achieve.

Good luck

I've used thoose carbon fiber sticker sheets on one of my tunner builds.  The sheet looks real as the carbon cloth, I applied it on top of my car on the roof, but after a couple months in the hot summer sun it fades to a purple color.  when I took it off it left a purple stain on the crystal white paint job.  Your better off getting real carbon fiber

the one at decalfx.com it looks nothing to real carbon fiber, the pattern on that is just black and grey blocks with a shiny coating on it.

Go too these guys

This is the one that I used for the roof of my car, this one looks more like real carbon fiber.

this is what it looks like when on the car, kinda hard to see the sticker on the roof, only picture that I can find at the moment.  But the problem with that is that it looks awsome for a couple months then you have too replace it.
