Hello Extreme,

Any new information on the pricing of your murcielago replica on a dc custom chassis. I posted the question a few pages(p 128) back, and have not got a reply, I need to know how much I need to bank to purchase the Vehicle.

Thank you

Elexceed RS

DC has got all the prices on their website.
http://www.apdj34.dsl.pipex.com/DCsupercars/public_html/Mprices.htm

I guess it is probably a case of getting DC to build a running chassis, then getting Extreme to do the rest.
I.e. there is probably no one-stop turn-key for this I would imagine.

Ok listen all, lets just say extreme does produce a reventon kit? How many people with original lamborghinis are going to re-body their lambo to put the kit on. ALL the pieces on a murcielago bolt off with no problem EXCEPT the front fenders and the quarter panels. They are glued on. Now to take them off you would have to cut them off($$$$ for labor). Then lets say someone does put the kit on their car and wants to go back to their original body parts to sell the car. They will have to take the reventon kit off the car($$$$time and labor costs), then have the original pieces bolted back onto the frame($$$time and labor costs), then replace the front fenders and quarter panels($30k just to buy the original oem parts), then have them glued back on precisely($$$$ time and labor costs), then body work, prep and paint($$$$ time, materials costs and of course labor). It's not impossible for them to produce the kit but may not be worth it! I dont know how they are not getting hounded my audi now but if they produce a kit that replicates audi's million dollar plus car they will be in deeeeeeeeep deeeeeeeep ish and VERY fast!

If I had a: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 Murcielago I would definitely convert it to a Reventon! It makes perfect sense you have a 2001 Murcielago that is soooo yesterdays news, what are you going to do? Trade it in for 100K and get an Lp640 or the next greatest super-car for a few hundred thousand? I would spend 30-40k rebody the car into a Reventon and be the talk of the town! Basically take something that you were getting rid of and making it look like a million bucks, literally!

You will practically have the same thing as the genuine as well. In reality whats the difference between the Reventon Vs Murcielago other then the body? I would say that the performance will be practically the same, if any different. You are technically getting the same thing as real for a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the cost! You cant even call it a kitcar cause it wont be fake.
FAKER,

I believe you're right. It would make sense to rebody the 2002 and later Murci. They would become one of those elite 20(21,22,23,etc.).

Basically if Extreme is making a Revention built on a Gen Murci then it is possible he can offer us a Revention/Murci kit for the MR2. That would be AWESOME!
