Good to know.
Are you taking moulds of the real car?

Yes it makes things easier and the finished result is always better as long as you don’t have to change it to much, plus when having moulds of the genuine panels it helps sell panels to genuine owners

Right all Ferrari rep ideas are on hold now! I'll be off to get a Supra instead. Any idea on a time frame for this one Ashley? Been waiting for an Aston replica for a long time.

Well just a quick ebay search shows N/A 93 and up supras going for 10k-14k, and Turbos going for 15k-22k. Im sure you can pick up a wrecked or damaged one for much cheaper. But that sure is a expensive donor to start with.

I had a look in the UK and they are really cheap there seen a 93 going to about £2999 or $6000 US You can pick them up here in Japan for ¥200,000 or about $1730 and that is for Twin Turbo and in MINT condition!!!... had the wife look last night...

IM a supra owner and enthusiast in the states and The Toyota Supra MK4 (93-98) is very rare to begin with. The two versions are the N/A 220hp and the Twin Turbo 320hp. The N/A's go for 10-18k depending on the condition and the Twin Turbo version goes from 15-40K+ depending on the condition. Its a legendary JGTC/Tuner car so the car has legendary status and still calls for a high premium even though its 10+ years old. The good thing is its really reliable and the Engine and transmission in the Turbo version is almost bullet proof the Engine can take 1500+hp and still be street driveable and many people have gotten it to this level. This car is definetly in the same stands as ferrari and lamborghini in terms of performance and with a few bolt on mods it can easily stand up to and beat z06's,bikes,lambos and ferraris. But I dont know why you would want to use such a rare car as a donor ?

(PS: IM talking about america not the UK/JAPAN because the supra was still in production in japan from 93-2002 so I assume the 93-96 version is really really cheap.)

They have the new 2007 Supra now ... and GAWD!!... ... Cars in Japan are cheap as, as most people change every 5 years or so.. so second hand cars are really cheap.. you can pick up a 3 year old Subaru WRX STi for about $10,000 US... and they are everywere...

So you know what it looks like

And yes it looks like the Aston Martin

The Vanquish is a superb car.... But I don't understand the Supra choice...  The wheelbase is off by more than 5 inches!

I don't know about the european market but for the North American market, the late model Mustang is right on the target!!
Almost identical size, plenty of cars, depreciating rapidly, all the power options you want!

Just my 2 cents! Smiley)

Would not the last generation F-Bodies be a suitable donor? They are certainly less expensive than a MarkIV Supra.

It might be that this car is not complete and there is not much info on it. Off topic is most likely suited for this type of tread.
