I am interested in this kit besides the Exact Gallardo.
I live in a NY City apartment DNA, so space will be tight and labour is expensive and I do not have much time on my hands after work and college.
I have a passion for cars though and am a student of auto design.
Would like to know how much time it would take me to complete a build.

I plan on using the car for joyrides as my daily driver is an M5.

Please advise.

Regards.

I'm not sure its this straightforward, you need a method to make the +v switched car electronics live. Ie when you turn the key, yes you are unlocking the steering wheel but you are also switching in circuits such as ecu, main headlamps etc ....

I think you would need a transponder system that recognized a valid RF key. So you could probably adapt most car alarm systems. In fact the car alarms that have remote start would manage the car electronics switching.

I believe that this is the correct notion. The turning of the key puts the ignition into the on position. The button simply takes the place of the second ignition position (start position). I think that it be wise to have more than just a steering lock to stop the bad guys from taking you baby.

You should tell me why the Gallardo is not worth it, if that is what you mean.
Besides, are you the one who has put up a deposit too ? How much did you give and how difficult is the build if I have to do it myself with no mechanical knowledge whatsoever ?

-Thanks

You said "forget about the Gallardo", so I thought something might be wrong with it/it might not be worth it  Huh
