8)I also know of a company that is building a 360. It will be based on the new MR2 Syder and will be 7% smaller than the real thing.

I can’t post any pic's of the work done to date but I will soon.

EmbarrassedOnly prob's for you guy in the State they are only going to build turnkeys first, but latter they will be releasing it for DIY fitting.

The car will cost over here about £35k and all the dimensions will be correct just 7% smaller.

yea MR2s here are rare, and the old ones are either junk or
extremely hard to find but are cheap.

i am also lost on how many 360 projects there are now. i know
there is one here near me, but other than that im lost. Huh

I agree I think the f360 lost that youthfull sports car look of the 355. The 360 to me has some parts that I realy like but overall I would not wast my time building a 360 kit like I'm doing with the 355. I do not know if it is true or not but a friend told me since the 360 has been out they have lost sales. It would be nice to see for fact if my friends scoup is true or not any one seen the Data?
Hey Elpis-
I don't understand your interest in the F360. Its ugly.

first of all, people like to haer what they think.
ferrari has gotten MORE sales since 360 replaced the 355
"Ferrari, announced today that its sales rose for the sixth consecutive year in 1999. The success of the Ferrari F-1 team which is off to consecutive triumphs by Michael Schumacher in this year's World Championship was likely also a factor in the Italian company's increased production levels.

Commercial incentives, including the personalization of its models, are offered by Ferrari to customers in North America, its key market. One Canadian customer, for example, asked that a child's safety seat be in the same leather as the regular seats. Wow! Talk about "lifestyles of the rich and famous".    "

Also, you have to see them in person to compare them. Side
by side the 360 is bigger and higher off the ground. they
sound the same and perform almost the same (360 is faster).

as far as beauty goes, i wouldnt compare them. its like
comparing a miata to a mclaren by size, and each has its own
features. if you like the 80s and chisled design, then 355, and
if you like wavy and curved, then 360  Wink

when i pulled up to a red 360 spider, there was no wondering
if i wouldnt mind having it, and when that crazy looking lady in
the silver spider wanted to somehow race me (45mph limit and
cops everywhere, not to mention we were going 65mph)
i really didnt know what to do until she went in front of me.
THE 360 STINKS BADLY. The exhaust smells like burnt oil all
over but it wasnt burning oil due to the lack of smoke. Angry

uhm...

a. celica is front engine, not rear

b. that IS the NEW mr2

also there's no point in doing this since there is no kit out.
the mr2 kit has long disappeared.
